WHO WE ARE
Samaj Rachna Kendra (SRK) is a community-focused organisation committed to creating positive and sustainable change through social development, empowerment, skill development, education, entrepreneurship, and community participation.
Our work is rooted in the belief that lasting development happens when people are given the knowledge, skills, opportunities, and support they need to become self-reliant. We work closely with communities, particularly in rural areas, to understand local needs and develop practical initiatives that improve livelihoods and quality of life.
Over the years, our initiatives have included vocational and skill-development training, entrepreneurship awareness, digital services, women's livelihood development, environmental activities, and support for local producers and communities.
Through collaboration with communities, volunteers, institutions, and development partners, we strive to turn ideas into action and contribute towards a more inclusive, empowered, and self-reliant society.

Samaj Rachna Kendra (SRK) is a non-governmental organisation established in 2014 with a commitment to creating a more just, inclusive, and self-reliant society. Founded by a group of dedicated social activists, the organisation works to address social challenges and create meaningful opportunities for individuals and communities.
Based in North Bihar near the Nepal border, SRK works closely with communities to improve access to quality education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities, a healthy and secure environment, and participation in important decisions that affect their lives.
Our approach is rooted in community participation, empowerment, innovation, and sustainable development. We believe that lasting change happens when people are given the knowledge, skills, opportunities, and support to build better lives for themselves and their communities.
Since 2014, we have been working towards turning this vision into meaningful action—one community at a time.
